PEACEFUL PRESENCE: Gentle Yoga

Get Grounded: Stretch, Breathe, & Gently Restore

Experience a beautiful blend of gentle yoga postures designed to relax, restore, and bring balance to your body and mind.


Peaceful Presence invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and cultivate awareness through mindful movement and quiet reflection. This calming practice helps strengthen and lengthen the body while soothing the nervous system and releasing layers of stress and tension.
 

Each class moves at an unhurried pace, offering time in each posture to breathe, soften, and deepen your stretch. You’ll also enjoy moments of guided breathwork, meditation, and relaxation to help you leave feeling refreshed and renewed. Cathy provides plenty of options and modifications, so the practice feels accessible for every body — whether you’re brand new to yoga, working through an injury, managing chronic pain, or simply seeking a gentler path to wellness. No matter your level of experience or flexibility, this class offers a nurturing space to reconnect with yourself and find peace through presence.

Quiet Strength is a Qigong & TaiChi class taught by Alex Sorbello. This class meets on Wednesday mornings at 9:30 AM. To register, you must contact Alex directly by following the link below. A keypad code is required to enter the building, so be sure to register ahead of time to get those instructions. Lastly, you will want to arrive at least a few minutes before class to give you time to get settled in.

DEEP RELEASE: Yin & Nidra

Deep Rest, Energy Balance, & Guided Meditation

( All Levels | 75 - 90 Minutes )

Slow down and surrender into the soothing blend of Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra, a deeply restorative practice designed to nourish your body, mind, and spirit.

In the Yin portion of class, postures are held for several minutes to gently stretch and hydrate the body’s deep connective tissues—ligaments, tendons, and fascia—while enhancing circulation, flexibility, and energetic flow. Each pose becomes an invitation to pause, breathe, and release physical and emotional tension.

The final 15 - 20 minutes of class transitions into Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation often called “yogic sleep.” Through gentle awareness and visualization, you’ll rest in a place between wakefulness and sleep where deep healing and nervous system reset can occur. Together, Yin and Nidra create a sanctuary for restoration—reducing stress, improving sleep, and harmonizing your energy from the inside out.

AWAKEN & ALIGN: Slow Flow

A Gentle Flow for Balance, Strength, & Clarity So You Can Shine On

Start your morning with this energizing, heart-opening flow designed to awaken your body and clear your mind.


Through intentional breathing, mindful alignment, and a sequence of flowing postures, Awaken & Align cultivates strength, balance, and clarity from the inside out. As you move with the rhythm of your breath, you’ll open space in the body and create a clear channel for energy (prana or qi) to flow freely. The result is a calm yet vibrant sense of presence that carries you through the rest of your day. This all-levels class encourages curiosity and awareness—meeting you wherever you are and leaving you feeling centered, refreshed, and inspired.

FLOW & RELEASE: Flow & Yin Fusion

Move Stress Out of the Body & Flourish

Ease into your weekend with this all-levels Friday evening class designed to help you release the week’s tension and reconnect with your body’s natural rhythm.

We’ll begin by grounding through breath and mindful awareness, awakening sensation and presence before moving into a gentle, steady flow of standing postures. Each sequence is linked by breath and guided by clear alignment cues to build strength, stability, and focus.

As the energy softens, class transitions into slower, cooling movements and yin-inspired postures to soothe the connective tissues and calm the nervous system. Whether you’re new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, Flow & Release offers the perfect blend of movement and stillness—a mindful invitation to reset, release, and arrive fully in the moment.

This all-levels practice blends gentle strength-building sequences with spacious pauses for awareness and reflection. Each posture becomes a meditation in motion—an opportunity to align body, mind, and spirit.

As you flow and eventually settle into stillness, you’ll leave feeling uplifted yet grounded, calm yet clear—ready to move through your day with ease and grace.

DEEP STRETCH & STILLNESS: Yin

Whispers of Yin: Balance Your Energy & Ease Your Body

( All Levels | 75-90 MINUTES ) 

Experience the rejuvenating power of Deep Stretch & Stillness, a yin yoga practice designed to release tension, restore balance, and nourish the body’s deeper layers.

In this meditative class, postures are held for several minutes to gently stretch the connective tissues—ligaments, tendons, fascia, and even the bones—inviting space, freedom, and vitality into every part of your being. As the body softens, the mind begins to settle, allowing subtle energy (chi or prana) to flow more freely through the energetic pathways, replenishing your inner reserves and restoring harmony.

Yin yoga is sometimes called the “Fountain of Youth” for the way it supports joint health, flexibility, and longevity while soothing the nervous system and quieting the mind. This class is accessible to all levels and offers a profound opportunity to pause, breathe, and remember the joy of simply being.
