The sacral, or svadhistana chakra (in Sanskrit), is located just below the naval. It's the second out of seven main energy centers (chakras) located within the body and along the spine. Chakras can be described as wheel or galaxy-like centers that have a powerful effect on our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. 

When in balance, the sacral chakra governs our ability to express ourselves creatively and connects us to our intuition and emotions. It also helps us to feel more balanced, abundant & joyful while cultivating a healthy relationship with our sensuality. 

There are many ways to tune into our sacral energy and when ignited, this chakra encourages creativity, freedom of expression when it comes to emotions and sensuality, establishing a healthy relationship to pleasure, and lessens feelings related to guilt and shame. When sacral energy becomes depleted, emotional instability, fear of change, sexual dysfunction, depression, addiction, and creative blocks may be experienced, taking a toll on our overall health. 

With a central focus on the second - or sacral - chakra, we will take a journey through each of the main energy centers through visualization, meditation, affirmations, connection, and of course, creative expression. The bulk of our time together will be dedicated to creating your very own Bohemian Wall Hanging - made on local driftwood.

Your investment includes: a piece of Lake Ontario driftwood, yarn, twine, charms, & beads. 

 A variety of colorful supplies will be available to choose from but please feel free to bring your own favorites to add to your creation! Necessary tools will be made available (ie: scissors, beading tools, hot glue); however, there may be a scissor shortage! If you have a sharp pair of scissors that you're able to bring along for your own use, please do!
